How-To Embed Your own Gallery:

ATTENTION: For those of you who would like to EMBED photo-galleries from OTHER websites into the McNaughton Legacy Site (as seen in all of our Photo Gallery Pages) Please use the following steps:

1) Create a new CHILD PAGE in a gallery of your choice
2) Click the "Source" button in the formatting bar
3) Paste the Code from below into the body of your page
4) Replace the "http://www.YOUR-LINK-HERE.com" text with the actual web-address of your gallery
5) Click SAVE and you are done!

ATTENTION PICASAWEB.GOOGLE.COM USERS:
You will find that directly embedding your album does not look good due to the album preview box that pushes your images off screen. You can edit the HTML code from your picasa page to fix this problem.

You will need the "Web Developer Toolbar" for FireFox to do this and an FTP account for McnLegacy.com.

1) Open your PicasaWeb Album
2) In the "Web Developer Toolbar" click the "Miscellaneous" button and choose "Edit HTML"
3) You will see a ton of HTML CODE - DON'T FREAK OUT!!!! You can do this.
--You may want to reposition the EDIT HTML window to the left side of the screen
4) Scroll Down through the code until you find the following string of code:

5) Delete EVERYTHING above the <td class="lhcl_body"> tag. (don't delete the <td class... tag itself)
6) If you are still feeling comfortable in all this code then READ STEP 7 if not skip to step 8
7) If you want to make your album look even cleaner scan down SEVERAL lines until you find a line of code that reads:

and delete everything above it
8) Click the "Save" icon (floppy disk) and save the page to your computer ADD ".html" to the end of the file name!!!!!!!
9) Log-in to your McnLegacy FTP Account (See Administrator for Set-UP)
10) Upload the HTML file that you just created to your FTP account
11) Follow the above steps for embedding your new gallery into a blog!
